In high school my son Darren had a flannel shirt that he wore often. The sleeves had been cut off. In those days Darren hardly ever wore anything with sleeves. One day when he was wearing this shirt he flexed his muscles and it tore right down the middle of the back. I thought this was Darren's favorite shirt, so I kept it. When I was going through things to clean up and donate items I came across this shirt and decided it was time to make a Story Bear out of it.
Do you have a similar item, or items that you would like to memorialize in this way? I can help you with that. On my bear I used the buttons from the shirt for eyes, but I can order safety eyes for your project. I can combine several fabrics, and I can make various sizes. Let me know if you have a project you would like to commission. I'd be happy to help.
